The History

Equine Reproduction Ltd was a young, fresh, forward-thinking company founded in 2007 by reproductive physiologist Jamie Anderson. The company quickly became one of the most friendly and trusted names in UK breeding through its active and growing participation in all major aspects of the industry. In 2011, Equine-Reproduction.com LLC - with whom the Equine-Reproduction Ltd. had been working alongside for some years - purchased the assets of the company with the intention of continuing in the footsteps created, while expanding their own operation into Europe. Jamie continues as UK Manager and constantly strives to be one-step-ahead by using the very latest research to improve every aspect of every service we provide.

The Team

Jamie Anderson

- Jamie specialised in equine reproductive physiology at Keble College, at the University of Oxford and carries out research work in conjunction with universities, companies and individuals. He has since trained with some of the world's leading experts in equine reproduction within the UK, North & South America. Being a reproductive physiologist allows him to focus on developing new techniques, and improving existing methods of semen collection, shipping, cryopreservation and improving fertility. He is particularly interested in investigative work with sub-fertile mares and stallions, and works in conjunction with a number of studs and veterinary practices on solving "problem" cases.

Mathilde Serrager

- Mathilde has joined us after a stint working for the French National Stud. She is an experienced equestrian, who has been fully trained within the French riding and producing system. She manages the stallion barn, and is also in charge of the laboratory.

Jos Mottershead

- Jos is probably one of the best known lay reproduction experts in the World. His website Equine-Reproduction.com is the most visited horse breeding website on the planet, and if you haven't visited it before then we strongly recommend you do so now! Jos teaches the courses which we offer, as well as acting as a consultant to Equine-Reproduction LLC in the UK.

Kathy St Martin

- Kathy is Jos's wife, and an equally impressive mine of information. A particular expert in embryo transfer, and ground collection of stallions, Kathy also acts as one of the UK operation's consultants as well as supervising all office matters.
